When referencing the first resource you will want to consult is the NCI Library Referencing Guide which includes explanations and examples of referencing using the 3 styles used in NCI, Harvard, APA and IEEE. 

There are also quick guides available for each one of these referencing styles; Harvard Referencing Quick Guide, APA Referencing Quick Guide and IEEE Referencing Quick Guide.
