There are three main referencing styles used in NCI; Harvard, APA and IEEE. All three referencing styles are illustrated in the NCI Library Referencing Guide.
NB: While APA is generally used for Psychology, Education and Learning and Teaching subjects and IEEE is commonly used for computing subjects this is not set in stone and you should always consult your lecturer if you have any doubts about which style you should be using.
