How do I print / download my Similarity Report?

Answer

1. Open the Turnitin document viewer for the chosen assignment.

2. Ensure that the Similarity layer is selected on the menu to the right.

3. Click the download icon  just below the Similarity layer.

4. Select Current View.

5. The download may take a minute or two depending on the size of the file, do not navigate away from the page during the download or you may have to download again.

6. Once you open the downloaded file the Similarity Report can be found at the end of this document. The first page of the Similarity Report will look similar to the below image; (please note this is just an example and the average assignment will have a much higher Similarity Index % and more primary sources).

NB: For students completing theses, please note that most instructors will only require you to include the first page of your Similarity Report in your hard copy thesis.
