Question: What are empirical articles/studies?

Empirical articles, or research articles, are articles in which the author analyses and discusses their own research. These articles will include original data which has been collected through questionnaires/ surveys, focus groups, interviews etc. and there will be findings and results on this research.

Rider University has a useful guide on the different types of articles.

See below FAQs for other article types.
